So I noticed a cat from a few doors down sitting out side our front door when returning from town today. I noticed when I got closer he left us a litte gift. (not our own cat’s do not leave gifts)

Right, this is a personal post. About an issue myself and partner have had for some time.
My son. Well it’s not my son himself, but more about the issues with the government and authorities.
I split up with my ex-wife when he was 2 years old.
I made sure I see my son on an even 50-50 split. I have custody every monday & tuesday and my ex has him wednesday & thursday, friday, saturday & sunday are split alternatively.
Although we agreed not to go through the CSA for payment as the split is equal. My partner kept all the child benefit and obviously claims all tax credit related stuff.
We have struggled for awhile now after I lost my job. Unable to claim any benefit of any type to help with the expense of keeping my son. We have managed to spread the current benefits of myself, partner and daughter between 4 of us.
My partner has a medical issue now which mean we need to move home, luckily I have been housed by a local housing association so we are on a housing list for a new property.
The housing association have now stated that we are unable to get any house that has more than 2 bedrooms as my son is not taken into account as he’s not with us 100% of the time. So they state he has to share with our daughter (we aren’t going to let that happen my partner and I will sleep in the front room and let the children have the bedrooms first), oh and even though they have a legal requirement to give them both a room of their own after 7 they are not going to do that either as he’s not with us 100% of the time. Although my ex-wife will get a room per child as she claims the child benefit for all her children
Seems like although I try to be there for my son as much as possible, being the only person that takes him to the doctors/hospital etc. I get kicked down by the local authorities and government. While his mother gets every bit of help possible.
I know the government are big on family at the moment and don’t want a broken Britain and want to name and shame absconded fathers, however they are not helping fathers who want to be there! We do not want money, I would go with out everything for my children but I would like to be able to give them both a room of their own. Where as mother, get every bit of help under the sun!
Oh and even though I have my son on a 50/50 split, when his mother wants a little extra cash, guess what? On top of everything else she claims for, I’d have to pay her more just to have him the same amount of time as her! For a 50/50 split shouldn’t there be no fee?
Sort out fathers right Government, why am I not recognised as a parent just like his mother is, unless I have nothing to do with him and then you treat me as an equal parent and demand money?

<3 you dude, I’ll always be there
Daddy.
Eight was created by flatmo1 from deviantART, it is a very stylish home page replacement inspired by Windows 8 screenshots.
It can be customised to any webpage you want with an easy to modify source page to change the panels to desired web pages.
I have this currently running on Chrome on my mac and makes a great improvement to the usual start up page.

Get your GiffGaff SIM cards here
Having recently left O2 UK and over 10 years of being a contract phone user I have taken the step away and become a PrePay user. The main reason I went with giffgaff was the excellent value they give you with their goodybags!
Their £10 goodybag is great value and more than what I have been paying £30+ for with O2 for the past 3 years.
I will also now be trying to convince the rest of my family to move to giffgaff from their current networks. (*free giffgaff to giffgaff calls)
… Please can you get this to my house sometime in the near future!

The guys at XDA have done it again.
You can now update to Sony Ericsson’s latest software for the Xperia Play (2.3.3) and still be rooted.
Please check here
You will need to update to the genuine software from Sony Ericsson via Flast Tool, then by fastboot flash the rooted .img file.
This software update does keep all your data, I did however encounter an error with “Titanium back up” after restart. The application said it did not have root privileges, however it did work after a re-install.
Go and enjoy 2.3.3
